As a strategic social media marketer, Jake has nurtured online communities on a wide variety of projects ranging from a touring college bartending competition partnership with SVEDKA, Mitsubishi’s launch of a new electric vehicle, to helping grow a franchise restaurant concept from a single store to over 20 sold locations in less than two years. He has taught classes on new media marketing and has helped build new brands from the ground up.

He has traveled to over 15 countries in Europe, the Middle East, and South America over the past several years and his sense of adventure and passion for exploring new cultures translates directly into a thoughtfully aggressive and unique marketing style for clients to ensure these communities are interesting, vibrant and geared towards driving bottom-line results.

Berton is the Founder and CEO of Athens Social Media, an active member of the Board of Directors for Extra Special People, and a founding member of UGA’s Terry Entrepreneurship Society. He is a current participant in the LEAD Athens program and was recently featured in the Athens Banner Herald’s 40 under 40.
